SITI LESTARI DONOLOBO or familiarly called Ms. TARI DONOLOBO is a figure who is remembered as a bridesmaid/traditional shaman. He was born on 10 APRIL 1947 in Yogyakarta. The third daughter of mother R.AY. Siti Rochaya and Mr. R. Donolobo Dirdjokusumo. Grandson from the mother's side (RM. Hatmodanuseputro (way of Sri Sultan Hamangkubuwuno VI), grandson from (father's side) KRT. Dirdjokusumo (Regent of Bantul).
Ms. Tari Donolobo had received a Flight Attendant Education and the Yogyakarta Women's Academy, during her schooling in Yogyakarta, namely at SMA Negri 3 Yogyakarta, SMP Negeri 1 Yogyakarta.
Since childhood, he has been familiar with the world of art, especially the world of cosmetology, because Tari's mother, Siti Rochaya Donolobo (deceased) was a bridesmaid/dresser.
Accustomed to being involved in everyday life, starting from sharpening eyebrow pencils, preparing bridal makeup tools to put in the beauty case, preparing bridal flowers. Even since he was little, he has always been towing and helping Donolobo's mother in her duties.
Then pursued a career as a flight attendant in Bali, stopping since starting a family and having children. Apart from owning a convection and catering business for airplanes, Tari Donolobo's mother began to venture into bridal makeup for close friends, around 1971.
Seeing her daughter's talent and abilities, Ms. Rochaya Donolobo asked Tari Donolobo's mother to learn to make makeup more seriously, to her fellow bridal make-up friends, namely:
Mrs. Prajoko Halpito (Sukirap Amanah Prajoko Halpito), Mrs. Sosronegoro (Chandani Wiyati Sosronegoro), Mrs. Marmien Sardjono and Mrs. Sri Supadmi. For PAES Expertise, Mrs. Donolobo Dance was asked to study with Mrs. Sri Supadmi, who is Mrs. Donolobo's assistant on a daily basis.
As for customs and clothing, Tari Donolobo's mother studied directly with her mother, Ibu Rochaya Donolobo.
Ms. Tari Donolobo from Bali moved to Yogyakarta, continuing her bridal makeup activities. Since then, Donolobo Dance's mother has seriously studied Makeup, Procedures and Traditional Bridal Equipment from the masters/experts, namely Mrs. Marmien Sardjono and traditional Traditional Clothing, especially Yogyakarta and Surakarta clothing with Mrs. Mari Condronegoro.
Since then, Ms. Tari Donolobo began accepting bridal make-up and actively participated in HASTANATA (Yogyakarta Fashion and Makeup Arts Expert Association), born on March 1 1978, founded by masters of makeup, namely: Mrs. Siti Rochaya Donolobo, Mrs. Chandani Wiyati Sosronegoro, Mrs. Sukirap Amanah Prajoko Halpito, Mrs. Marmien Sardjono.
