Starting from the award as the best make-up instructor at the provincial level in 2009, to being the best make-up instructor in 2010 in Jakarta. Of the many awards he has received, it does not necessarily make him arrogant and favoritism towards his students. With firmness, she upholds the standards that apply in bridal make-up, making her students achieve proud results. Call it Arnie Suryo, Edina Larasati and Hj. Yuyuk Endi, is 3 (three) of hundreds of well-known makeup artists who are reliable in terms of Yogyakarta style wedding makeup. Her expertise in guiding high achieving and competent students led her to the title of cosmetology instructor with the most graduates. At the beginning of her career as an instructor at SKB from 2015 to 2017, Mrs. Bawuk succeeded in giving birth to around 1200 students who passed the competence test in the Bridal Makeup program in various fields.
As a senior make-up artist, Bu Bawuk's figure is also inseparable from the bridal make-up organization. In 1981 she joined the Melati Special Region of Yogyakarta Special Region of Yogyakarta Association of Indonesian Bridal Makeup Experts (HARPI) as a member. In 1990 he served as chairman of the Leadership Council of HARPI Melati Yogyakarta City Branch, and from 2000 to 2015 he served as treasurer of the Regional Leadership Council (DPD) HARPI Melati DIY. In 2017, he experienced a prolonged illness, but this did not make him hopeless and without work. In fact, his illness became his encouragement to create something useful for his students and the world of paes manten. Between his treatments, he succeeded in creating Yogya and Solo paes patterns that anyone could easily apply. Unfortunately, his work has not been patented considering the conditions and the difficulty of the bureaucracy to get there. Even though he is no longer young, his enthusiasm to continue working is always passionate. His dream to make the performance of the traditional Sundanese wedding ceremony was successfully carried out by his students who are members of the SekarArum Bridal Makeup Association.***
