The Indis Building Jalan Supadi Number 11 Kotabaru Yogyakarta is a Cultural Heritage Building that has been stipulated by Decree of the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta Number 195/KEP/2019, Indis Building owned by Notary M.F. Jenny Setiawati Y, S.H is located in the Kotabaru Cultural Heritage Area, which has been stipulated by Decree of the Governor of the Special Region of Yogyakarta Number 186/KEP/2011. The Indische building has an Indische architectural style, namely a blend of European and local architectural styles.
The building at Jalan Supadi Number II Kotabaru Yogyakarta has two parts of the building which are separated by an alley. Ash' building on the west side with a roof in the form of a combination of pyramids and saddles. The new buildings on the east and north sides are two-storey with gable roofs using ceramic tiles and cladding using kayo. The building in Kelurahan Kotabaru is a part of the Kotabaru settlement with the concept of Ciarden C'fig after the Loji Kecil and Bintaran areas were no longer sufficient. The Kotabaru Cultural Heritage Area is a historical place related to the historical events of the Battle of Kota Baru on 6-7 October 1945 in the form of incidents of armed contact between Japanese troops and Indonesian fighters as a result of failed negotiations to disarm Japanese troops in Yogyakarta.
